Illumeo Competency Assessment, Step 1: Assess
Design Problems Addressed: What is the user’s level of competency relative to their job title, current or aspirational? What should they study to improve?
Measuring Success: Course engagement and ratings of relevance.
Process: Users were interviewed to determine pain points in career development and associated training. Kevin developed wireframes based on product requirements provided by the CTO and CEO, and worked with Engineering to implement the designs. Post-deployment user and stakeholder interviews determined the effectiveness of the product.
Results: Investors and other stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the potential of the product to improve users’ lives and forward the business interests of the company.
